Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Process Engineer in chemical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with process safety management (PSM) principles and HAZOP studies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize chemical manufacturing processes to improve yield, efficiency, and safety.
• Monitor and analyze process data to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.
• Implement process changes and modifications, conducting necessary tests and validations.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and develop effective solutions.
• Ensure all processes comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and engineering teams to scale up new products and processes.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new and existing processes.
• Manage process improvement projects, including cost analysis and ROI calculations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to plant operators and technicians.
• Stay current with advancements in chemical engineering and process technologies.
