Placements24 is seeking a Senior HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives for energy operations based in Soweto. You will develop robust HSE strategies, programs, and policies to ensure a safe working environment and minimize environmental impact across sites.

You will conduct risk assessments, lead incident investigations, and champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards such as ISO 14001/45001.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive HSE management experience in energy/industrial sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage HSE policies, procedures, and management systems.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and management systems.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify and mitigate hazards.

• Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors.
