Morae Global Corporation is seeking a Senior HR & Payroll Operations Specialist to lead end-to-end SA payroll and support HR operations in Cape Town. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance and coordination with third-party providers.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of SA payroll experience, proficiency with HRIS and payroll platforms, and a meticulous, confidential approach to payroll data. Cape Town office availability is required.

Formación

• A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in payroll administration, payroll operations and HR Operations.
• Experience managing South African payroll processes from start to finish.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll platforms such as Deel, PaySpace, Sage HR or similar systems.
• Strong knowledge of South African payroll legislation and statutory submissions (PAYE, UIF, SDL).
• Good understanding of South African labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, Skills Development Act).
• Familiarity with SARS compliance requirements and submission tools like easyFile.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end South African payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Maintain accurate payroll information within HRIS and payroll systems.
• Coordinate payroll submissions and transfers to third-party providers.
• Maintain employee payroll records including salary changes, deductions and tax information.
• Ensure payroll compliance with SA statutory requirements (PAYE, UIF, SDL).
• Review payroll data, identify discrepancies and resolve queries.
• Support payroll reconciliations, reporting and data audits.
• Maintain headcount and leave reports per BCEA.
