Job summary

Sasso Consulting seeks a Senior HR, Payroll & Administration Officer to join the farm-based team near Hermon, Western Cape. The role demands a proactive, hands-on approach and strong administrative capabilities to support HR, payroll and office operations.

Fluency in Afrikaans and English, plus a valid driver's license, are preferred for effective stakeholder engagement on-site at Farm Vorentoe.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have extensive HR and payroll experience, including end-to-end payroll processing.
• Proven hands-on HR generalist experience with employee relations and administration.
• Experience with Sage VIP / Sage 300 People is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day HR administration and employee matters.
• Handle employee contracts, onboarding, terminations and records.
• Support disciplinary processes and employee relations.
• Manage absenteeism, leave administration and documentation.
• Oversee payroll processing and compliance using Sage VIP / Sage 300 People.
