Job summary

Stadio Higher Education seeks a Lecturer in Human Resource Management to deliver modules in a blended learning environment at the School of Administration and Management in Cape Town. The role emphasizes high-quality teaching, assessment design, and alignment with industry needs.

The successful candidate will develop content, conduct assessments, and contribute to curriculum development, research publications, and academic citizenship. A Master’s degree and professional engagement are preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum NQF level 8 (honours) qualification in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology or a closely related field.
• A Master’s degree (NQF level 9) is preferred.
• Demonstrated lecturing experience in a blended learning environment, including the use of learning management systems (LMS) and digital platforms such as MS Teams, Google Meet, or Zoom.
• Relevant industry experience in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology.
• Ideally, active membership of a recognised professional body, such as SABPP

Responsibilities

• Lecture Human Resource Management modules and related service modules within a blended contact learning environment.
• Deliver engaging and student-centred lectures that promote critical thinking and practical application.
• Design and conduct assessments, including marking and moderation, in accordance with institutional policies and quality standards.
• Uphold academic quality assurance processes to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
• Provide academic support and guidance to students to promote student success, retention, and progression.
• Contribute to curriculum development, review, and transformation to ensure programmes remain relevant, inclusive, and aligned with industry needs.
