Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Generalist focused on Industrial Relations in Polokwane, Limpopo. You will manage employee relations, chair disciplinary hearings, and lead collective bargaining with unions, ensuring compliance with SA labour laws.

The role requires a robust IR strategy, dispute resolution expertise, and the ability to advise management on IR implications, while supporting broader HR functions like recruitment, onboarding and performance management.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on Industrial Relations.
• In-depth knowledge of Labour Relations Act, BCEA and SA labor legislation.
• Proven experience in collective bargaining, dispute resolution, and chairing disciplinary hearings.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of industrial relations including disciplinary hearings, grievances, and CCMA disputes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with trade unions and employee representatives.
• Lead and participate in collective bargaining negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with Labour Relations Act and collective agreements.
• Implement and enforce HR policies related to IR and provide IR training for managers.
