A leading provider of Electronic Systems in South Africa is seeking a Senior Hardware Test Engineer. This role involves providing inputs to project plans, leading design and integration for test systems, and supporting various technical functions. The ideal candidate must possess a B.Eng. Degree in Electronics and have extensive experience (10+ years) in test system development and electronic circuit design. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for the fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: B.Eng. Degree (Electronics) or similar.
• 10+ years of experience in test system development and circuit design.
• 5+ years of experience in test equipment integration.

Responsabilités

• Provide inputs to project plan and estimates for test bench development.
• Perform high-level architectural design of the test bench.
• Lead procurement and assembly functions.

Connaissances

Test systems architectural design

Fault finding and repair experience

Experience in engineering and testing procedures

Digital and general analog electronic design

Knowledge of National Instruments

Technical Team Leader experience

C# Development skills
