HENSOLDT South Africa is seeking a Development Engineer to design, develop, integrate, verify and support electronic hardware and software products across the lifecycle. You will apply engineering principles and structured development methodologies to deliver reliable, compliant and manufacturable solutions that meet customer and business needs.

The role requires a BEng in Electronic Engineering and 2–8 years of product-development experience, with strong skills in hardware, software, systems

Formación

• BEng in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–8 years' product development or engineering experience.
• Experience with electronic hardware, software or firmware development.
• Experience in multidisciplinary environments is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop electronic hardware, software, firmware and subsystems to meet requirements.
• Verify, integrate and industrialise products throughout development lifecycle.
• Manage product requirements, configuration baselines and changes.
• Provide engineering support to stakeholders during deployment and sustainment.
• Contribute to planning, cost estimation and continuous improvement.
