Placements24 is seeking a Senior Grant Writer and Foundation Relations Manager to lead fundraising efforts for an environmental conservation non-profit in Pretoria. The role blends remote flexibility with essential in-person collaboration and donor engagement in Gauteng.

You will identify funding opportunities, craft compelling proposals, and manage relationships with foundations and corporate partners to secure financial resources.

Competenze

• 5+ years proven grant writer experience securing significant funding from foundations.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong understanding of the grant application process, including research, proposal development, and reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for funder relationships.
• Experience in budget development and financial oversight for grants.
• Proficiency with grant research databases and CRM systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a hybrid work environment.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Non-profit Management, Environmental Science, or related field; Master's preferred.

• Research and identify potential funding sources, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
• Develop and write high-quality grant proposals, applications, and reports aligned with strategic objectives.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with foundation program officers, CSR managers, and other stakeholders.
