Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead advanced analyses and design for international projects on a fully remote basis. The role requires a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering, PE or equivalent, and at least 10 years of global project delivery experience.

You will work with a diverse, time-zone-spanning team, mentoring juniors and ensuring compliance with international standards. A strong home office setup and reliable internet are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering; PhD advantageous.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent international registration.
• Min 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience on complex projects.
• Proficient in advanced numerical modeling with PLAXIS/FLAC.
• Strong remote project management and multi-project delivery capability.
• Experience on international projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced geotechnical analyses (slope stability, seepage, consolidation, liquefaction).
• Develop foundations, earth structures, and ground improvement designs.
• Prepare geotechnical reports, design documentation and specs.
• Provide expert geotechnical advice to internal teams and clients.
• Review geotechnical data and designs from external consultants.
• Collaborate virtually with global project teams and offices.
