You will collaborate with reservoir engineers and geologists, plan new seismic surveys, and produce maps, reports, and targets.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geophysics or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in seismic data processing and interpretation within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Proficiency with industry-standard seismic interpretation software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom Suite).
• Strong understanding of seismic wave propagation, data acquisition techniques, and geological principles.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
• Ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Process and interpret 2D and 3D seismic data to identify geological features and hydrocarbon traps.
• Perform seismic attribute analysis, velocity modeling, and seismic inversion.
• Integrate seismic data with other geological and geophysical datasets (e.g., well logs, gravity, magnetics).
• Assist in the planning and acquisition of new seismic surveys.
• Generate geological and geophysical maps, cross-sections, and reports for exploration targets.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers and geologists to refine subsurface models.
