Placements24 is seeking a skilled Geologist to bolster our exploration and production team based in George. You will analyze geological data, interpret seismic surveys, and contribute to exploration strategies within the oil and gas domain.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Geology or related earth science.
- Minimum of 5 years in geological exploration, preferably within oil & gas.
- Proficiency in Petroel/GeoGraphix (Petrel/GeoGraphix).
- Strong seismic data processing and interpretation skills.
- Experience with reservoir characterization and hydrocarbon systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze geological data to identify potential hydrocarbon reservoirs.
- Develop and refine geological models for drilling guidance.
- Collaborate with geophysicists and reservoir engineers to integrate data.
- Prepare geological reports, presentations, and maps for management.
- Contribute to exploration strategy development and risk assessment.
- Maintain geological databases and software tools.
