Qualifications

• PhD in Computational Biology or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience analyzing large-scale genomic datasets.
• Strong programming in Python or R, with scripting (Bash).
• Expertise with genomics-focused bioinformatics tools and databases.
• Ability to collaborate in a hybrid team and communicate complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large-scale genomic, transcriptomic, and epigenomic datasets using advanced computational and statistical methods.
• Develop and maintain robust bioinformatics pipelines for sequence alignment, variant calling, and differential gene expression analysis.
• Collaborate with experimental biologists to design studies and interpret results in the context of hypotheses.
• Implement and adapt cutting-edge algorithms and machine learning approaches for genomic data analysis.
• Curate and manage genomic databases, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
• Prepare technical reports, visualizations, and presentations for meetings and publications.
