Placements24 is assisting a client in Randburg to recruit a Senior Formulation Scientist for the R&D department. You will lead development projects from concept through pilot scale, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring novel formulations to market.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Sciences, with a minimum of 5 years in formulation development.

Qualificações

• Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in formulation development in an industry setting.
• Strong understanding of physical chemistry principles relevant to formulation science.
• Experience with various formulation types and analytical techniques for characterization.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and optimize complex formulations for new and existing products.
• Conduct stability studies, compatibility testing, and performance evaluations of formulations.
• Investigate formulation challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to scale up and commercialize formulations.
• Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and conclusions.
