Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in formulation development, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven expertise in various formulation techniques and characterization methods.
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, scale-up principles, and GMP requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimization of new product formulations, ensuring desired performance characteristics.
• Design and execute experiments to evaluate formulation stability, efficacy, and safety.
• Oversee the scale-up of formulation processes from laboratory to pilot and commercial production.
• Mentor and guide junior formulation scientists and technicians, fostering scientific rigor and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing.
• Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory requirements in formulation science.
