The ideal candidate has a Master’s or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field and 5+ years of hands-on experience with drug delivery systems, excipients, and DoE. Collaboration with analytical chemists and regulatory affairs is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical formulation development, with a strong focus on oral dosage forms.
• In-depth knowledge of drug delivery systems, polymer science, and pharmaceutical excipients.
• Experience with formulation and manufacturing equipment (e.g., tablet presses, capsule fillers, granulators).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and design of experiments (DoE) principles.
• Excellent scientific curiosity, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop novel formulations for various oral dosage forms (tablets, capsules, powders).
• Conduct pre-formulation studies to characterize drug substances and select appropriate excipients.
• Optimize formulation composition and manufacturing processes to achieve desired drug release profiles and stability.
• Perform formulation development, including experimental design (DoE), screening, and optimization.
• Scale up laboratory formulations to pilot and commercial manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with analytical chemists, process engineers, and regulatory affairs to ensure successful product development and regulatory submissions.
