Job summary

Omnia Group is seeking a Forensics Lead to guide and strengthen forensic practices across the organisation. You will develop frameworks, manage complex investigations, and coordinate with law enforcement and internal stakeholders to mitigate financial and reputational risk.

You will lead strategic initiatives, drive governance improvements, and ensure timely, accurate reporting on investigation outcomes and trends, contributing to a safer and more compliant business environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Forensic Accounting, Finance, Law, Criminology, or related field.
• A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• CA(SA)/ ACCA/ CPA (advantageous).
• CAMS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee forensic investigations into fraud, corruption, financial misconduct, cybercrime, and regulatory breaches.
• Provide expert guidance on complex investigations and approve investigation approaches and outcomes.
• Ensure investigations are confidential, objective, and compliant with legal requirements.
• Develop and implement forensic strategies, policies, and investigation frameworks.
• Monitor fraud risks and report to executive leadership.
• Prepare and present investigation reports and recommendations.
