Job summary

Financial Intelligence Centre is seeking a senior leader to manage multi-disciplinary forensic accounting teams delivering high-quality forensic evidence for investigations.

The role requires a decade of relevant experience, AML training, and deep knowledge of constitutional and regulatory frameworks. Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills, plus management experience, are desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field (Criminology, Forensic Accounting, Forensic Investigation Technology, Accounting, Law, Auditing, or Cyber Forensics are highly recommended).
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in forensic accounting, analysis, investigation, law and law enforcement.
• Anti-money laundering training or practical experience in combating the proceeds of crime is a prerequisite.
• Applied advanced knowledge of the Constitution / Criminal Procedure Act / the intelligence cycle / the POCA and FIC Act as well as the law of evidence.
• Sound knowledge and experience with the domestic financial regulatory framework.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Management experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the activities and output of multi-disciplinary forensic accounting teams to deliver high-quality forensic products.
• Serve as a technical reference, mentor the team and foster professional growth in forensic accounting.
• Collaborate with division heads, government agencies and stakeholders to secure cooperation and information.
• Present technical forensic findings to senior management and external audiences.
• Develop and execute delivery plans aligned with policy, standards and legislative powers.
