Job summary

Old Mutual Limited is seeking a Senior Forensic Manager for Investigations in Cape Town to lead and transform the Group's investigations capability. The role spans strategic, operational and technical leadership over complex fraud, misconduct, regulatory breaches and financial crime, delivering intelligence-led investigations and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Forensic Investigation, Forensic Accounting, Accounting, Law, Risk Management, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional forensic qualification such as CFE, CA(FISA), CA(SA), or Admitted Attorney.
• Master's degree in Forensics, Finance, Law, Accounting, Business Leadership, or related discipline (preferred).
• 12-15 years' experience in forensic investigations, 5-10 years in a senior leadership role, with experience in complex investigations.
• Experience in a Big Four or leading financial services environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee significant forensic investigations across the Group.
• Establish and maintain world-class investigation methodologies, frameworks and standards.
• Ensure investigative processes remain independent, objective, legally defensible and aligned to regulatory expectations.
• Direct the investigation of high-profile, complex and sensitive matters.
• Engage external specialists when required and provide expert investigative guidance for litigation and regulatory matters.
• Translate investigation findings into strategic remediation actions and risk insights.
