About the Role

Our client, a prominent national logistics provider, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Fleet Manager to oversee and optimize their extensive fleet operations. This pivotal role, based in Klerksdorp, North West, ZA , will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and efficient deployment of a diverse range of commercial vehicles. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive fleet management strategies to enhance efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee the procurement, maintenance, and disposal of all fleet vehicles.
• Manage a team of fleet technicians, dispatchers, and drivers, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Monitor vehicle performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules using fleet management software.
• Ensure all fleet operations comply with national and local transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers for parts, fuel, and maintenance.

Requirements
