Placements24 partners with a FinTech client in Soweto to recruit a Senior Business Analyst. You will bridge business stakeholders with development teams and translate requirements into functional specifications for new financial technology products.

The role requires 5+ years of BA experience in FinTech, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with Agile and Jira in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in FinTech or financial services.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, process modeling, and functional specification documentation.
• Strong understanding of financial products, services, and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and development teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit and validate requirements.
• Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to meet business needs.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure quality of delivered solutions.
• Analyze existing systems to identify improvements.
• Assist in project planning and management activities.
