Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions on fintech transformation initiatives in Cape Town and the Northern Cape. You will gather and document requirements, analyze processes, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure IT projects deliver maximum value.

The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, validate and document business requirements for IT projects.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements.
• Develop functional specifications, user stories and process models.
• Collaborate with development, QA and project management teams for accurate implementation.
• Analyze processes and identify efficiency gains and optimization opportunities.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
