Placements24 is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for our client in Polokwane, Limpopo. You will lead advanced financial modeling, perform variance/trend analyses, and prepare executive-level reports and dashboards to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Master's degree or CFA/CA(SA) certification preferred.
Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, investment banking, corporate finance, or a similar role.
Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and quantitative analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raising activities.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis, to identify key drivers and provide actionable recommendations.
Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key financial metrics, risks, and opportunities.
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
Monitor market trends and economic conditions, assessing their potential impact on the company's financial performance.
Collaborate with various departments across the organization to gather financial data and ensure consistency in reporting.
Perform due diligence on potential investment opportunities and provide financial insights to support investment decisions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
Support the CFO and other finance leaders in ad-hoc financial projects and analyses.
