Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst specializing in Management Accounting to join our client’s team in Polokwane, Limpopo. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting to support strategic decisions and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with SAP/Oracle/Pastel. A professional accounting qualification is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CIMA/ACCA or equivalent qualification is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve management reporting systems with timely financial information for stakeholders.
• Conduct variance analysis of actual vs budget/forecast and identify drivers.
• Assist annual budgeting and periodic forecasting with department heads.
• Prepare financial models and ad-hoc analyses for business initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and provide insights on performance trends.
• Analyze product costing, profitability, and inventory valuation.
• Support close processes with accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Contribute to financial controls and procedures development.
