Job summary

Network Recruitment International is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to bridge Finance, IT and external partners on finance transformation programs in South Africa. You will translate business requirements into system specs and ensure accurate representation of finance processes across ERP, procurement and consolidation initiatives.

The role emphasizes technical fluency, data flows, system architecture, and stakeholder engagement to drive finance transformation and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, IS, IT, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in finance systems implementation projects (ERP, Procurement or Financial Consolidation) within a Big Four space.
• Experience liaising between business, IT, and implementation partners.
• Strong understanding of finance processes including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Financial Consolidation, and Reporting.
• Ability to interpret system architecture, data models, APIs, and integration designs.
• Experience with requirements gathering, functional specification development, and test management.
• Working knowledge of SQL or data query tools would be advantageous.
• Exposure to platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, Coupa, Ariba, Ivalua, OneStream, Hyperion, SAP BPC, Fluence, or Anaplan will be highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data environments, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between Finance, IT and external implementation partners during finance systems projects.
• Translate finance business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Review and validate solution designs, data models and integration architectures.
• Identify risks, gaps and process misalignment before implementation.
• Facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicts between business requirements and technical constraints.
• Map and validate end-to-end data flows across multiple finance systems.
• Support integration design discussions and assess proposed technical solutions.
• Coordinate and support testing activities, including UAT and integration testing.
• Maintain project documentation including process maps, data dictionaries, and functional specifications.
• Support change management, training initiatives and user adoption activities.
• Monitor project milestones, risks and dependencies.
• Assist with post-implementation support, continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Analyst to serve as the critical link between Finance, IT, and external implementation partners across major finance transformation initiatives.
