Job summary

Project Management Connection is looking for a skilled SAP Finance Analyst to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role involves supporting finance transformation initiatives and ensuring alignment of finance processes with business objectives.

The successful candidate will lead SAP implementation projects, collaborate with finance stakeholders, and provide end-user support among various responsibilities. Candidates should have extensive knowledge in SAP FI/CO modules and relevant experience in finance transformation projects.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years’ experience as a SAP Finance Analyst / Consultant.
• Proven experience in finance transformation or system implementation projects.
• International exposure in SAP projects is preferred.

Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Finance Analyst to join a leading financial services organisation on a 12‑month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in finance transformation initiatives, supporting SAP implementations, and ensuring alignment of finance processes with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, design, and implement SAP Finance (FI/CO) solutions to support business requirements.
• Lead and support SAP implementation projects, including configuration, integration, and testing.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP functionality.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance, and audit requirements.
• Provide end‑user support, training, and documentation.
• Partner with IT and business teams to ensure smooth transition to future‑state operating models.
• Support month‑end, year‑end, and financial reporting processes through SAP.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (advantageous).
• Proven track record in SAP implementations (end‑to‑end).
• International project exposure (advantageous).
• Solid understanding of financial processes, reporting, and controls.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Structured, detail‑oriented, and outcomes‑driven.
