Placements24 in Pretoria, Gauteng, is seeking a Senior Consultant to join their Financial Advisory division. You will provide strategic financial counsel to clients, work on M&A, valuations, and restructuring, and develop financial models and due diligence analyses.

The role requires strong knowledge of corporate finance, regulatory frameworks in SA, excellent communication, and leadership of project teams to deliver high-quality advisory services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial advisory, corporate finance, investment banking or related financial role.
• CFA/CA(SA)/CIMA qualification is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of SA financial regulations and capital markets.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert financial advice and strategic recommendations to clients.
• Conduct financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions and investment opportunities.
• Develop complex financial models for valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Assist clients with corporate restructuring, capital raising, and debt advisory services.
• Analyze financial statements and performance metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for client stakeholders and senior management.
• Manage project teams and ensure timely delivery of high-quality financial advisory services.
