Placements24 is recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant for a fully remote role supporting operations nationwide in South Africa. The role demands strong IFRS expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage complex accounting processes independently.

You will oversee the general ledger, prepare annual financial statements, provide technical guidance on complex transactions, and mentor junior staff remotely while driving improvements in processes and ensuring compliance with SA tax regulations.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) designation required and must be current.
• Minimum 6 years post-articles experience in financial accounting, incl. 2+ years in a senior role.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and experience with complex financial reporting.
• Proficiency in advanced accounting software and ERP systems.
• Ability to work remotely and manage projects independently.
