Placements24 is seeking a remote Financial Controller to lead the finance department from any location. This senior role oversees accounting, financial reporting, compliance and internal controls for a growing organisation.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented Remote Financial Controller to lead their finance department from any location. This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. As a fully remote position, you will leverage technology to manage a distributed team and ensure seamless financial operations. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a professional qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA) is essential.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 3 years in a controller or senior finance role.
• Proven experience in managing remote teams and virtual financial operations.
