Job summary

Network Finance in Gauteng is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee the full finance function within a manufacturing environment. You will manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow, while driving cost controls and working capital improvements.

Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, ensure compliance and governance, and partner with operational stakeholders to enhance business performance.

Qualifications

• Proven senior finance leadership experience with a track record of delivering results.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, industrial or chemical manufacturing is essential.
• Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Solid costing, margin analysis and operational finance exposure.
• Experience with working capital management and treasury.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting systems proficiency.
• Ability to lead, mentor and develop finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the full finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
• Oversee costing, margin analysis and operational finance across the manufacturing environment.
• Drive working capital management, treasury and cash flow optimisation.
• Ensure statutory compliance, tax, VAT and external audit processes.
• Provide commercial and strategic financial guidance to executive leadership.
• Develop and manage financial models, management reports and performance analysis.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, ensuring accountability and high performance.
• Strengthen internal financial controls, governance and reporting procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Partner with operational stakeholders to improve cost management and business performance.
• Ensure effective utilisation of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
