Top Vitae Recruitment is seeking a Senior Financial Manager to lead financial control and strategic planning. The role delivers expert financial and analytical advice to support decision-making, ensuring compliance with IFRS/US GAAP and taxation obligations.

You will oversee cashflow, treasury, reporting, audits, and a small finance team, driving profitability and cost efficiency while collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• B.Comm (Hons) with CA/CIMA (or similar).
• Minimum of 8 years financial experience in auditing, technology, FMCG, retail or similar industry.
• Proven track record of AI incorporation in a financial environment.
• Creative problem solving and financial decision making; able to model outcomes for stakeholders.
• Experience in managing and influencing multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent financial acumen with revenue and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist in monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations.
• Ensure timely preparation of IFRS and US GAAP financial statements.
• Deliver financial information packs with insights for stakeholders.
• Oversee subscriptions profitability, client billing and revenue recognition.
• Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts; improve reporting processes.
• Lead statutory reporting and annual audits; consolidate entities.
• Manage working capital and multi-currency cashflow; oversee AP/AR.
• Oversee taxation: VAT, EMP201/EMP501, corporation tax, withholding tax.
• Lead a small finance team and oversee budgeting and procedures.
