Qualifications

• B.Comm (Hons) with CA/CIMA (or similar).
• Minimum of 8 years financial experience in auditing, technology, FMCG, retail or similar industry.
• Proven track record of AI incorporation in a financial environment.
• Creative problem solving and financial decision making; able to model outcomes for stakeholders.
• Experience in managing and influencing multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent financial acumen with revenue and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist in monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations.
• Ensure timely preparation of IFRS and US GAAP financial statements.

• Oversee subscriptions profitability, client billing and revenue recognition.
• Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts; improve reporting processes.

Job description

The Senior Financial Manager is responsible for financial control, driving business profitability by offering expert financial and analytical advice to assist in decision‑making processes. As the Senior Financial Manager, you will monitor and enforce compliance with finance‑related laws, procedures, and regulations such as tax filing, foreign exchange, and financial reporting. This role ensures accurate financial planning, monitoring and reporting.

Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting

• Supervise and assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial account reconciliations.

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and US GAAP.

• Review financial information to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Management Reporting

• Create and manage the ongoing production of a financial information pack to deliver financial insights and strategic support to key stakeholders.

• Manage subscriptions profitability, client billing, and revenue recognition processes to ensure accuracy and transparency.

• Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets and forecasts.

• Continually seek to enhance operational processes and reporting.

Statutory Reporting and Annual Audit

• Responsible for the statutory reporting and consolidation across relevant entities.

• Responsible for the planning, supporting and management of the annual audits of all relevant entities.

Treasury Management

• Working Capital Management

• Multi-Currency Cashflow Planning

• Manage the Accounts Payable function

• Manage the Accounts Receivable function

• Initiate Weekly Payment Runs

• Maintain strong cash flow management and forecasting, with focus on cost efficiency.

Taxation

• Oversee the organisation's tax compliance requirements and ensure timely and accurate submissions.

• Manage and coordinate:

• EMP201/EMP501 reconciliations

• Corporation Tax

• Withholding Tax

Team Management

• Manage a small team of financial analysts.

• Oversee the operations and development of the company's finance department including budgeting and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.

Requirements:

• B.Comm (Hons) with CA/CIMA (or similar)

• A minimum of 8 years financial experience in auditing, technology, FMCG, retail or similar industry.
