Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
• Respond to emergency service calls and perform on-site repairs and replacements as needed.
• Collaborate with the engineering and support teams to identify root causes of recurring problems and implement permanent solutions.
• Document all service activities, including site visit reports, troubleshooting steps, and parts used, in the company's CRM system.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians as required.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment at designated service locations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in field service, network installation, or a related technical role.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Experience with various network hardware vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, HP Aruba).
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and network testing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential for travel within the Johannesburg region.
