Job summary

Exceed HR and Recruitment in Cape Town is seeking a Senior Outbound Sales Executive based in Maitland. You will drive outbound sales, develop new business and meet customers in the field, building strong relationships with key accounts.

The role requires excellent communication, negotiation and leadership potential to mentor junior sales team members. Travel is extensive and a valid driver’s license with own vehicle is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outbound, relationship-driven sales.
• Experience in food, seafood, FMCG or similar fast-moving industries advantageous.
• Strong new business development and prospecting skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Drive outbound sales and actively develop new business opportunities.
• Spend the majority of the working week meeting customers in the field.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Prospect, cold-call and identify new customers and market segments.
• Maintain knowledge of product pricing, availability and market positioning.
• Respond to customer queries and act as their primary point of contact.
• Process customer orders and follow through to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor order fulfilment and resolve customer issues proactively.
• Provide management with market, competitor and customer insights.
• Support the future development and mentoring of junior sales team members.
