• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years experience in industrial engineering with focus on facility layout, plant design and material flow optimization.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Experience with simulation software (Arena, AnyLogic) for facility modeling is highly desirable.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing knowledge and its application in facility design.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and spatial reasoning skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize facility layouts for manufacturing plants, warehouses, and distribution centers to improve material flow and operational efficiency.
• Develop detailed plans for equipment placement, workstation design, and overall plant configuration.
• Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD) to create detailed facility blueprints and models.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to minimize waste, reduce non-value-added activities, and improve ergonomics.
• Conduct simulation studies to evaluate the impact of proposed layouts and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate new equipment and technologies into facility designs.
• Ensure designs comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and operational requirements.
• Develop project proposals, cost estimates, and implementation plans for facility layout projects.
• Work with contractors and vendors during the implementation phase of layout changes.
• Provide technical support and guidance on facility design best practices.
