Job summary

CBRE Excellerate is seeking an experienced Facilities and Operations Manager to plan, organise and direct activities for client premises. Lead service delivery, manage budgets, and coordinate third‑party contractors to maintain high uptime and safety compliance.

The role requires cooling/heating, electrical and mechanical qualifications, with weekend work and strong leadership. Fluent in English/Afrikaans is preferred; a Driver's license is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• HVAC/Refrigeration/Electrical/Mechanical qualification is mandatory.
• Additional maintenance training for client management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement facilities and operations policies for the client.
• Supervise and train assigned personnel.
• Coordinate third party service providers and vendors.
• Respond to emergency calls to ensure uptime for the client.
• Oversee maintenance activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage budgeting and cost controls for client facilities.
