Placements24 seeks a highly organized Recreational Facility Operations Supervisor to oversee all facilities in a premier Rustenburg complex. You will manage maintenance schedules, lead staff, enforce safety standards, and elevate visitor experiences across sports fields, pools, courts, and leisure areas.

You will coordinate with departments to plan events, control resources, and ensure cleanliness and functionality. A commitment to excellent service in a community hub is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities management or operations supervision.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and health and safety legislation.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate staff.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control.
• Scheduling, resource allocation and operational planning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience in sports or recreational settings is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of all recreational facilities.
• Schedule maintenance, cleaning, and groundskeeping staff.
• Ensure facilities and equipment meet safety and functionality standards.
• Enforce operational policies and health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with event organizers for setup and breakdown.
• Oversee inventory of operational supplies and equipment.
• Respond promptly to operational issues and emergencies.
• Inspect facilities to address maintenance or safety concerns.
• Liaise with external contractors and vendors for repairs and maintenance.
• Contribute to development of operational budgets and manage costs.
