Job summary

Redefine in Gauteng seeks a seasoned Facilities Manager to plan, manage and monitor all building maintenance and related services, ensuring quality standards and strong customer relationships.

The role oversees manpower, emergencies, preventive maintenance, budgeting and safety compliance, with CMMS and green building knowledge considered an advantage. Occasional weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in FM on Senior Management level.
• Thorough understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Experience in stock control management.

Responsibilities

• Manpower allocation, assessment and performance management.
• Supervises maintenance service and repairs for building and equipment.
• Takes charge of emergencies and ensures backup for corrective action.
• Implements maintenance and procurement of materials and scheduling installations.
• Develops preventative maintenance programs for utility systems and building.
• Conducts in-service training and enforces safety regulations.
• Keeps records on equipment inspection and preventative maintenance.
• Manages and reports on project budget.
• Undertakes other duties as required by the post and National Facilities Manager.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety requirements.
