Job summary

Redial BPO in Weltevredenpark, Roodepoort, is seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance, safety, and efficiency of our work environment. The role requires hands-on capability to perform minor repairs and to keep the office running smoothly.

You will develop preventive maintenance plans, manage vendor relationships, monitor budgets, and coordinate with HR and Operations to ensure workspace safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven facilities management experience.
• Hands-on ability to perform basic repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry).
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and vendors.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance and upkeep of the facility, including office space and equipment.
• Perform minor repairs to reduce downtime and outsourcing costs.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations through regular inspections.
• Manage vendor relationships for maintenance, cleaning, security, and outsourced services.
• Monitor facilities-related budgets and procurement of supplies.
• Respond to facility-related emergencies promptly.
• Collaborate with HR and Operations to ensure workspace efficiency.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
• Provide recommendations for facility improvements and cost-saving measures.
