Weir Minerals Isando (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance across buildings, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and fire protection at Isando. You will drive preventive maintenance, coordinate repairs with contractors and manage safety, budgets and KPIs.

The role requires a Degree or Diploma in engineering, a valid GCC and 5–10 years of multidisciplinary maintenance leadership in industrial or mining environments. Onsite work with a focus on reliability and safety.

Formación

• Must have a degree or national diploma in mechanical, electrical, industrial or related engineering with significant maintenance management experience.
• Valid GCC required and appropriate GMR 2.1 competency per legislation and operating environment.
• Minimum 5–10 years’ experience leading multidisciplinary maintenance teams in industrial, manufacturing, mining, or large facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate safety-first culture and uphold zero-harm behaviors.
• Oversee facility maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and fire protection.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and coordinate repairs and contractor activity.
• Lead engineering and maintenance projects, manage CAPEX scopes and budgets.
• Monitor KPIs, conduct root-cause analyses and drive reliability improvements.
• Manage maintenance backlog and spares inventory; ensure compliance with procedures.
