Job summary

PayInc group in Rosebank, Johannesburg is seeking a Facilities Hard Services Specialist (Electrician) to manage and optimise the building's infrastructure, systems and equipment. The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-safety, elevators and other critical services to ensure safe, compliant and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has a technical background in electrical engineering or related field, with a Wireman's Licence and a proven track record in facilities

Qualifications

• Minimum BSc Engineering or BTech in Electrical Engineering with a Wireman's Licence.
• Trade Test Certificate (Electrician) recognised by the Department.
• Professional registration with the Electrical Contractors' Board is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SANS, building regulations and health & safety requirements is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and execute planned preventive maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire-safety systems.
• Coordinate repairs and upgrades to minimise downtime and supervise contractor performance.
• Ensure compliance with SANS and Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993.
• Monitor energy use and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Plan infrastructure projects, budgets and resource allocation.
