Job summary

PayInc is seeking a Facilities Hard Services Specialist (Electrician) to lead maintenance of building infrastructure, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-safety systems. You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage service contracts, and drive reliability across critical systems to support uninterrupted operations.

The role requires a minimum six years of experience in hard services with practical expertise in HVAC and electrical installations, strong vendor management, and knowledge of SANS

Qualifications

• Requires formal engineering degree in electrical field and recognised electrical licence.
• Trade qualification as Electrician with regulatory registrations is mandatory or highly preferred.
• Experience with CMMS, CAD tools and project management software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and execute planned preventive maintenance schedules for building systems.
• Coordinate repairs and supervise upgrades to electrical, HVAC, plumbing and fire-safety systems.
• Manage contractors, monitor SLAs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Identify energy-saving opportunities and implement efficiency measures.
• Plan infrastructure projects with budgets and timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports on costs and compliance requirements.
