Placements24 seeks a versatile Facilities Maintenance Technician to manage upkeep and repair of building systems at their Randburg premises. You will ensure safe, efficient operation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building fabric with a proactive approach within Gauteng.

The role requires broad technical skills, strong problem-solving, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining logs and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Facilities Maintenance Technician or similar trade.
• Broad knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and interpret technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Respond to and resolve maintenance requests and emergency repair needs promptly.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to building infrastructure and equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and building codes.

You will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks, from routine checks to emergency repairs, across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building fabric. The ideal candidate will possess broad technical skills and a proactive approach to maintaining a high standard of facility operations within the Gauteng region.
