Placements24 in Nelspruit is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer to oversee the integrity and efficiency of our client’s oil and gas infrastructure. You will plan maintenance, turnarounds, and capital projects to ensure reliable, safe operations from our Nelspruit base.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering and at least seven years in facilities engineering within oil & gas. You will lead cross-functional teams and manage external service providers to deliver sustainable

• Strong knowledge of process equipment, rotating machinery and piping systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies for production facilities and equipment.

• Ensure all facilities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to plant operations and equipment reliability.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
