Placements24 is seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer in Paarl with a specialization in production operations. The role oversees design, installation, maintenance, and integrity of production facilities essential for the Oil & Gas sector, ensuring safe, efficient operation and regulatory compliance.

You will drive maintenance strategies, asset management, and project execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production targets.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of facilities engineering experience with focus on production operations in Oil & Gas.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards and regulations (e.g., API, ASME).
• Experience with P&IDs, equipment specs, and maintenance management systems.

Responsabilidades

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Facilities Engineer with a specialization in production operations to join their team in Paarl . This role involves overseeing the design, installation, maintenance, and integrity of production facilities essential for the Oil & Gas sector. You will ensure that all facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards, playing a critical role in supporting the company's production targets and asset management strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of production facilities, from conceptual design through to decommissioning.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, including preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Oversee facility modifications, upgrades, and capital projects, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.
