Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning.
• Experience in hospitality or catering preferred.
• Strong vendor negotiation and client relations.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with event management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, plan, and execute a variety of hospitality events from start to finish.
• Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability while maintaining quality.
• Source and negotiate with vendors including caterers, decorators, entertainers, and AV providers.
• Develop detailed event timelines, floor plans, and run sheets for on-site execution.
• Liaise with clients throughout the planning process and manage expectations.
• Supervise on-site event staff and volunteers to ensure exceptional service.
