Placements24 is seeking a Senior Environmental Civil Engineer to lead sustainable civil projects remotely from anywhere in South Africa. You will drive water, wastewater, and land development design, oversee EIAs, and guide remediation efforts while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with specialization or coursework in Environmental Engineering.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of sustainable civil engineering solutions for water, wastewater, stormwater, and land development.
• Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and compile regulatory documentation.
• Develop remediation strategies for contaminated sites.
• Ensure designs comply with South African environmental laws and regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance to project teams.
