• Ensure all designs and projects comply with South African environmental legislation and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental scientists, hydrologists, and geologists, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
• Manage project scopes, budgets, and timelines effectively in a remote setting.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization or significant coursework in Environmental Engineering.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in environmental civil engineering, including design, project management, and regulatory liaison.
• Proven experience with environmental impact assessments, water resource management, wastewater treatment design, or contaminated land remediation.
• Strong understanding of South African environmental laws and permitting processes.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and environmental modeling tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
