Job summary

NTCSA is seeking a P16-graded engineer for Grid Planning and Development at Megawatt Park, Gauteng. Location-based role requiring design, standards development and technical leadership within grid planning.

You will contribute to technology strategies, process standards and support engineering change management, fostering development of engineers in the discipline.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in Engineering at NQF8 with 480 credits (engineering degree).
• 4 years technical experience in engineering related technologies.
• Professional registration with ECSA as a professional engineer.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consulting, investigation and support services to customers.
• Produce and integrate asset creation engineering solutions, designs.
• Develop discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures and work practices.
• Conduct discipline specific new technologies research.
• Manage and conduct product, equipment, material, service development and technical change management.
• Participate in national and international technical forums.
• Contribute to development of engineers in specified disciplines.
