Job summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd in South Africa is seeking a qualified engineer to support energy planning studies and long-term capacity planning. The role focuses on data management, technical analyses and standardisation outputs within the Energy Market Services unit.

The ideal candidate holds a BSc Eng./BEng in a relevant field with at least two years of experience in power generation, distribution or transmission. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BSc Eng./BEng in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Industrial Engineering (NQF8, 480 credits) is required.
• 2 years’ technical experience in Power Generation, Distribution or Transmission.
• Experience in power system planning, sustainability and forecasting is a plus.
